Arrivé le 30-06-1665 sur Le Brézé. Soldat de la compagnie de La Durantaye au régiment de Chambellé, marié à Neuville le 26-11- 1685, avec Jeanne Croteau, Canadienne, née en 1670 à Sillery, Canada. Décédé le 19-12-1708 à Saint-Nicolas, 58 ans, 6 enfants. Ménage établi à Neuville. Agriculteur. (FO, no 450000) (DGFQ, p. 97)

Jeanne, born on the 2nd and baptized on 3 July 1670 at Sillery; died on the 8th and buried on 9 May 1719 at Québec. Married at Neuville, on 26 November 1685, to Antoine Bessiere (v. 1650-1708), son of Paul and of Etiennette Givergue, from Villefranche-de-Rougergue, diocese of Rodez, in Guyenne (6 daughters). According to Roy and Malchelosse and Archange Godbout, (11) Antoine arrived at Quebec in 1665 with the Monteil Company of the Poitou Regiment. Once his military career was finished, he accepted various commitments before settling at Neuville, After his marriage, he went to live in the fief of La Chesnaye. It was at Montreal that Jeanne was remarried on 15 August 1709 (contract Le Pailleur, on the 11th), to Philippe Bareil (1669—after1716), son of Mathurin and of Marie Dalleye, from Doeuil-sur—Migon, in Saintonge (Charente-Maritime). This family would later live at Québec. They resided on Rue Couillard in 1716. There were no children from the second marriage.
