Notes for Marguerite Verdon
Adopted at the age of 3 by Mathurin Lelievre and Marguerite Jasselin in 1679, Jasselin remarried with Nicolas Lemoine who considered Marguerite as his own daughter5

An act of tutelage in June 1699 tells us that Jean Verdon was killed in 1678 in his house of La Prairie de Saint-Lambert, there were procedures done against Charles Combaud and Marguerite Richer, the latter accused of having committed the murder, Marguerite was condemned in absentia; Pierre Richer, grand-father of Pierre and Marguerite Verdon, was present when tutaors were nominated in 1699, Jean Desforges dit St-Maurice, husband of Marguerite Verdon, is named tutor, and Pierre Richer is named surrogate tutor. (see notes, tutelle of Pierre)
Marguerite Richer fled the country. It is unknown where she went.
At the marriage of her daughter Marguerite of February 14th, 1689, she is cited deceased.[12]21
